Mini Rig

Used mainly for shallow boreholes and poor access, our 5 mini rigs stand out from the competition with features including:

• Standard Penetration Testing which can be carried out in 1m intervals with samples recovered in plastic liners to reduce cross contamination.

• Drop weight and height can be altered from 63.5kg and from 750mm to 500mm respectively for Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight dynamic probing.

• Hydraulic breaker attachments can be used with extension leads for difficult access.

• Tracks retract to fit through doorways

• Samples tubes are extracted by a 20 tonne hydraulic jack which ensures recovery by allowing the tubes to be driven into very stiff clay, dense sands and gravel.
